Hold the revs in the band for a perfect launch, shift on the green, fire the nitrous, and spend your winnings in the garage on engine, turbo, tyres, weight, gearbox and nitrous upgrades.

How to play Drag King
Drag King is a quarter-mile drag racing career. You race eight rivals one after another, earn prize money for each race, and spend it in the garage on engine, turbo, tyre, weight, gearbox and nitrous upgrades. Lose four races and the career is over.
Controls: Up / W gas (hold it on the line to keep the revs in the yellow band), Space or Right arrow to shift up in the green band, N for nitrous, Enter to race. Buy upgrades in the garage between races. On a phone: GAS, SHIFT and NOS buttons.
Tips
- On the start line, hold the gas so the needle stays in the yellow band. Too low and you bog down; too high and the tyres spin.
- Shift when the needle reaches the green band near the red line. A perfect shift is quicker and gives the car a small kick.
- Fire the nitrous in third gear, once the tyres have grip. Using it in first gear just spins the wheels.
- Engine and tyres are the best early upgrades. Tyres matter more than they look, because grip off the line wins races.
- Even a lost race pays 40% of the purse, so if a rival is too quick, upgrade and try again.
