On a phone: left thumb moves, right thumb looks, and the buttons fire, aim, crouch, throw and plant.

How to play Frontline 1944
Frontline 1944 is a co-op WW2 assault for up to four players, backed by a squad of computer soldiers. You land on a beach under machine-gun fire, blow up the two bunkers on the bluff, take the church square, destroy an artillery battery and then hold the village against a counterattack.
Controls: WASD to move, mouse to look and click to fire, right mouse to aim down the sights, C to crouch, G to throw a grenade, hold E to plant a charge, R to reload, Q or 1 / 2 to switch between the rifle and the SMG, Tab for the map. On a phone: left thumb moves, right thumb looks, and the buttons fire, aim, crouch, throw and plant.
Tips
- Crouch behind sandbags, walls and hedges. Low cover only protects you while you are crouched, and your health comes back if you stay out of fire for a few seconds.
- The machine-gunners are safe behind their firing slit, so go round to the bunker's back door to plant a charge, or throw a grenade through the slit.
- To take the square someone has to stand in it with no enemy nearby, so clear the houses round it first. The ammo crate at each checkpoint refills your rounds and grenades.
