How to play Nitro Goal
Nitro Goal is car football for up to six players online, three a side. Drive into a giant ball to knock it towards the other team's goal. You can jump, dodge, boost and even fly. Matches last five minutes, and a draw goes to golden-goal overtime. Bots fill any empty seats, so you can always play.
Controls: W/S drive, A/D steer, Space to jump (press again with a direction to dodge), Shift or left click to boost, C toggles ball cam; in the air W/S tilt the nose. On a phone: left thumb steers and drives; JUMP, BOOST and CAM buttons.
Tips
- Ball cam (C, or CAM on a phone) keeps the ball on screen. Turn it off to look where you're driving.
- Hit the ball from behind, lined up with the goal you're attacking. Side hits send it into the walls.
- Jump, then press jump again with a direction to dodge. A dodge into the ball is the hardest shot in the game.
- Big orange pads in the corners and at the sides fill your boost. The small ones give a little.
- Don't all chase the ball. If a teammate is closer, drop back and guard your goal.
