How to play Skate Park

Skate Park is a three-stop skateboarding tour: a street plaza, a concrete bowl and a vert ramp. You get one minute at each to score as much as you can with tricks, and you need a top-three finish to go on to the next park.

Controls: Up / W push, Down / S brake, Left and Right turn (and spin in the air). Space ollie. J or Z flip, K or X grab (hold it), hold L or C over a rail to grind and lean with Left / Right to keep your balance. On a phone: direction pad on the left; FLIP, GRAB, GRIND and OLLIE on the right.

Tips

• Everything you do between taking off and landing is one combo, and the combo is worth its points times the number of tricks. Grind off a rail into another trick to keep it going.
• When you let go of a spin, the board finishes the half-turn on its own. Start spinning early enough that it's done before you land.
• A flip takes almost half a second. Flip right after you take off, not on the way down.
• On the vert ramp, keep pushing in the flat bottom to go higher. More air means time for a flip, a grab and a spin in one jump.
• While grinding, the balance needle drifts further the longer you hold it. Tap left or right against it, and ollie off before it reaches the red.
